In this episode, Ken Kay and Suzie Boss provide insight on their new book, Redefining Student Success: Building a New Vision to Transform Leading, Teaching, and Learning, that provides a North Star to help school districts bring the Portrait of a Graduate concept to life with an emphasis on big conversations around community engagement and teaching kids to become both self-directed learners and creative problem solvers. Kay and Boss also discuss how a backward design approach to deeper learning can not only help identify essential skills for students, but can create a new pathway to building a Profile of an Educator to drive school district orientation and professional development.
